in Notasulga, Alabama and grew up in Opelika, Alabama. Graduated
from Auburn University with a BSEd in 1964. Did graduate work at
Stetson University in Deland, Florida and at the University of
Tennessee.

taught school in El Paso, Texas and Seminole County, Florida.

2007 wrote grants for Interfaith Homeless Network to underwrite new
building
2008-2009
worked as the Supportive Services Coordinator at Metropolitan
Ministries; retired and then returned to the Ministry in February
2011.
